The Data Centre houses all your Social Sync data needs in one place.
β
You have the option to import data from other fundraising platforms, export your Social Sync data in the form of reports, and set up data automations to help assign organic fundraisers to the correct campaign.
When it comes to data, secure storage is essential. That's why data is encrypted both at rest and in transit, and access controls are in place to ensure that only authorised users can access sensitive information.
Import Hub
The Import Hub is the first page you land on when you click into the Data Centre. Within the Import Hub you can sync all your fundraising and donor data in one place β whether you import data manually via a CSV upload or Social Sync's API functionality, or enable nightly imports for automatic ingestion.
β
The Import Hub is broken into three sections β Platform Imports, System Imports and Import History.
Platform Imports
Within the Platform Imports section you can import fundraiser and donor data from Facebook and JustGiving. This process ensures that any organic fundraisers created directly on these platforms, as well as donations made to these fundraisers, are visible within the Social Sync platform.
β
You can manually import fundraiser and donor data from Facebook by using a CSV file or Social Sync's API functionality. For JustGiving this is limited to just the API.
β
βFor an API import to work, the platform must be connected to Social Sync. The platform integration status will display on the platform card:
Connected β The platform is connected to Social Sync, no further action is required before an import.
Set up integration β The platform needs to be connected to Social Sync before an API import is possible, click Set up integration to get started.
Refresh connection β The platform connection needs to be refreshed before an API import is possible, click Refresh Connection.
Once Facebook and JustGiving are connected, you have the option to turn on automated nightly imports for each platform. If turned on, organic fundraiser and donor data will be automatically uploaded to Social Sync each night.
β
The calendar provides an overview of the platform data ingested each day, broken down by transactions, fundraisers and revenue.

System Imports
Within the Platform Imports section, you can manually import audience members to your campaigns using a CSV file. It's a great way to add supporters to journeys, market to past participants and re-engage campaign audiences.
β
You also have the option to apply custom actions during import. Examples include adding tags, creating registrations and generating fundraising pages.

Import History
Imports will appear in the Import History table. The status column will state whether the import is processing, complete or an error occurred.
β
You can sort the table by clicking the arrows next to the column name you would like to sort by.
β
Clicking the three vertical dots next to an import will allow you to:
Inspect β A breakdown on the import will display, as well as additional information about import errors.
Download β A CSV file of the import will be downloaded.
Delete β Deleting the download will remove the import from the Import History table. If the import was successful, deleting the import will not delete or undo the import actions.
β
Automations
Within the Automations section you can set up automations to help assign organic fundraisers to the correct campaign based on keywords.
β
Setting up automations will ensure your fundraiser data remains accurate, giving you a clearer overview of all the fundraisers created for a campaign.

Reports
Within the Reports section you can turn your Social Sync data into downloadable CSV files that you can manipulate offline or upload to other platforms.
β
You can choose between the new version of the report builder (V3) or the legacy version (V2). Please note that custom filters are only available for the new version (V3).
The new version of the report builder (V3) is currently only available in the Reports area in the Data Centre. Exports created via campaign dashboards will continue to use the legacy version (V2).
βTo create a report using the new version of the report builder (V3), select the report type, specify a date range, and apply custom filters.
β
The report types are broken down by:
Registrations β Supporter registrations, tickets, teams and consent.
Fundraisers β Fundraiser page performance across all platforms.
Teams β Team pages, member totals and captain details.
Transactions β Donations, ticket sales, refunds and recurring donations.
For full technical specifications of the data included with each report please see our Technical export documentation.
