Automations help assign organic fundraisers to the correct campaign based on keywords.
β
Setting up automations will ensure your fundraiser data remains accurate, giving you a clearer overview of all the fundraisers created for a campaign.
Important: You must disable automations once your campaign has ended to prevent new fundraisers from being assigned to outdated campaigns.
Setting up an automation
To set up an automated rule:
Automations β The automations section will display a list of all your campaigns, find the relevant campaign and click "Add" next to it.
βAdd conditions β Create the conditions for the automation using AND and OR logic. For example, if you've selected the Walk 100 Miles in May campaign, you may want to set the condition to "Where Fundraiser Title contains Walk 100 Miles". Every time a new organic fundraiser with a title containing "Walk 100 Miles" is created, it will be associated with the Walk 100 Miles in May campaign.
βSave rule β Once you're happy with the condition, save it by clicking "Save Rule". Once saved, the rule you've created will be applied to future imports until it's disabled.
βManaging automated rules β Only one automated rule can be applied to each campaign. Campaigns with automated rules applied will have a green switch next to them in the Automations section. To disable the rule, turn the switch off β it will go from green to grey.

It's important that rules are turned off once a campaign has ended to prevent new fundraisers from being assigned to outdated campaigns.
