You can import fundraiser and donor data from Facebook and Instagram by using Social Sync's API functionality or a CSV of the Meta fundraiser transaction report. This process ensures that any organic fundraisers created outside of Social Sync, as well as donations made to these fundraisers, are visible within the Social Sync platform.
β
To check if your data ingestion is up to date for Facebook and Instagram, click the calendar button in the Facebook card.
β
For Facebook fundraisers created using Social Sync's 1-click forms, Meta provides basic live donation data via a webhook. However, a full import is required to match donor data to these donations. "Unknown" supporter records will be created as placeholders and the transactions will display in the calendar as "partial transactions" until the full details are ingested via the API or a CSV upload.
