We’re excited to have you on board! Setting up your SocialSync account is the first step to unlocking the full potential of your nonprofit’s fundraising efforts. In this guide, we'll walk you through adding key information about your organisation, setting your brand colors, and connecting powerful integrations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Getting started

Your settings are where you will find all of your personal and organisational details. Simply look for the cog icon in your menu...

The first tab allows you to edit the following information:

Organisation Info

Please enter your nonprofit's name and basic details here.

Regulatory Info

This section allows you to enter important links to your public facing Privacy Policy and your Terms & Conditions.

You can also toggle on the locations in which you are registered and add your Charity Number and, if needed, your Company Number.

The information that you add here is used to create a footer section that displays throughout your supporter facing content in Social Sync.

Contact Info

This is where to keep your primary office details and supporter facing phone number number and email address.

Social Media Links (Optional)

Keep your links up to date here for the following channels:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • Youtube

  • Twitter / X

  • Tiktok

  • Twitch

  • Threads

  • Custom

These links can be added via dynamic placeholders on our branded pages and forms.

Note: The details that you add here will get pulled through automatically as you build forms, message templates, supporter journeys and pages in Social Sync saving you time and providing your users and supporters with a consistent and recognisable experience.

Branding

This next tab is the place to really make Social Sync look and feel like home, as we give you the option to use your brand colours and logos, which you will then see throughout your account:

Logo, Favicon & Charity Bio

Click on Upload to add your Charity Logo and Favicon as well as using the text editor to complete your Charity Biography.

More Info: Your Charity Logo is used in page builder headers and needs to be less than 5MB whilst the Charity Favicon is used in site identity in browser tabs and must be less than 1MB with a maximum size of 512x513 pixels.

Typography

Pick from the available fonts for headers and body text as well as inputting the hex colour code for your default text colour.

Theme Colours

Here you can enter the hex codes for your primary, secondary and tertiary brand colours:

Go Pro: Customers on a paid plan can disable the Social Sync logo on forms, pages and email footers that is otherwise displayed as 'Powered by Social Sync'.

Integrations

Now it's time to integrate your platforms of choice to Social Sync to allow for seamless usage and management.

Simply select the platforms you would like to integrate and follow the instructions on the screen. You may need to follow different steps depending on the platform you have chosen to integrate, as each platform has its own requirements and permissions.

Note: You must integrate Facebook in order for Social Sync to create your fundraising pages and import your existing audience members.
