We’re excited to have you on board! Setting up your Social Sync account is the first step to unlocking the full potential of your nonprofit’s fundraising efforts. In this guide, we'll walk you through adding key information about your organisation, setting your brand colors, and connecting powerful integrations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Getting started

Your settings are where you will find all of your personal and organisational details. Simply look for the cog icon in your menu...

On the left-hand side, you’ll see a menu of pages that make up your settings. We’ll walk through each one in order.

Organisation Info

The Organisation Info section is split into four tabs: Overview, Socials, Compliance, and Donation Receipts.

Overview

Here you’ll add the essential core information about your organisation, including:

  • Organisation name

  • Custom domain – This is the editable URL slug that will appear across your Social Sync microsite and fundraising pages.

  • About – A brief description of your organisation.

  • Contact details – So supporters know how to reach you.

Socials

Add your social media links in this tab. These will automatically appear in your fundraising pages and email footers, helping supporters connect with you easily.

Compliance

Use this space to include links to your:

  • Terms and conditions

  • Privacy policy

These will appear across supporter-facing pages to help you stay compliant.

Donation Receipts

If you choose to send Social Sync-generated donation receipts, you can set these up here.

Important Note: If enabling Social Sync receipts, ensure you switch off Stripe’s receipt emails, otherwise donors will receive two different receipts for each donation.

Branding

Your Branding page helps you bring your organisation’s look and feel into every part of your Social Sync account.

Here you can:

  • Upload your charity logo, which will appear across your campaign pages, forms and emails.

  • Set your primary, secondary, and tertiary brand colours, which will automatically pull through to:

    • Buttons

    • Websites

    • Registration forms

    • Supporter messages

  • Save additional colours under Custom Colours for quick access whenever you’re editing campaigns or pages. This is especially helpful for larger brand palettes.

Homepage

Your Homepage section allows you to create a custom charity microsite that acts as a central hub for your campaigns.

Here you can:

  • Build a homepage microsite, which you can share across socials, include in marketing, or embed into your own website.

  • Add a Campaign Listing block, which will automatically display all of your live and public campaigns.

  • Add a Featured Listing block, showing any campaigns you've marked as ‘featured’ within your campaign settings.

  • Create an FAQ section to help supporters quickly find the information they need.

This is a great way to present a clean, branded landing page for all your fundraising activity.

Integrations

Now it's time to integrate your platforms of choice to Social Sync to allow for seamless usage and management.

Simply select the platforms you would like to integrate and follow the instructions on the screen. You may need to follow different steps depending on the platform you have chosen to integrate, as each platform has its own requirements and permissions.

Note: You must integrate Stripe in order for Social Sync to create branded fundraising pages for your charity.
