π Welcome to Social Sync!
We know you'll be excited to jump in and and set up your first campaign but there are just a few basics to tick off before you get going.
These only take a few minutes and are essential in getting you off to a good start with your new fundraising platform and quickly on to engaging with your supporters.
If needed you can click on the links in the headers below for more detailed articles on each of the steps shown.
When you are ready head over to Settings in the menu on the left hand side of your Social Sync screen or hit this button to go straight there:
In the settings tab you will be able to input your key organisation information and brand colours.
More Info: The details that you add here will get pulled through automatically as you build forms, message templates, supporter journeys and pages in Social Sync saving you time and providing your users and supporters with a consistent and recognisable experience.
As a minimum we suggest you complete your charity number, add your privacy policy and include a public facing email contact but we do recommend you complete the rest as quickly as you can.
All of the sections below can be found by clicking on the Settings cog icon below and then moving across the tabs at the top in turn:
π Organisation Info
Here you will be able to update Social Sync with the following information:
Organisation Info
Contact Info
Footer Links
Social Media Links
π£ Branding
This is the place to really make Social Sync look and feel like home with options to use your brand colours and logos which you will then see throughout your account:
Logo and Favicon
Charity Bio
Typography
Theme Colours
More Info: Your charity logo is used in page builder headers and needs to be 1000 x 500 pixels and less than 1MB whilst the typography and theme colours sections allow you to select primary, secondary and tertiary colours which will be used throughout Social Sync and the content that you create in the system.
β‘οΈ Integrations
Now it's time to hook up your Facebook Fundraising API and payment engine integrations.
There are more on the way such as MailChimp, PayPal and Zapier but these are the ones you can connect right now to get started:
Facebook Fundraising
Facebook Charity Reporting
Stripe
Important: You will need to have Facebook fundraising tools enabled on the accounts that you wish to manage with Social Sync and also have logon details and admin permissions for these and any other platforms that you want to connect.
ππΌ Users
Think about who you want to add to Social Sync and what they will be using the platform for and add them here hitting the + Add User button.
Once you have your users added you can manage, edit or delete them from this area too as well as set up two factor authentication (2FA) for additional security on your account.
Important: You will only be able to add users with email addresses using your organisations domain name.
βοΈ What next?
Once you have completed the Quick Start steps above you need to import some of you Facebook data so you can see you supporters in Social Sync and start to use the powerful dashboards and messaging capabilities.
Head here to our guide on Facebook Fundraiser Thanking for details on how to do this.
