IMPORTANT: You can only start to steward your supporters after importing data from Facebook. Complete that for your organic birthday fundraisers first and check back as they start to appear in your Stewardship Centre task queue.
ππΌ Introduction
The Stewardship Centre is where communication with supporters actually takes place.
Whilst you can build automations, templated messages, forms and other rules to completely customise your experience this article will show the basics of how to find and send a message to a supporter.
You reach it by selecting 'Stewardship' from the main menu bar:
Once open you will see your Inbox from where you manage your fundraisers and create messages that make processing multiple supporters an absolute breeze.
You even get a snapshot of the individual supporter that you are messaging over on the right that shows their personal details, lifetime value and all of the events that they have taken part in for your cause.
TOP TIP: Taking a second to view the supporter modal means that you can personalise your message and really make that supporter feel like they are getting a one to one experience.
Here is the Stewardship Centre in all it's glory.

π€ The Basics
For now only the 'Fundraiser' tab will be available. Our rule builder will let you set the events and conditions that must be matched to trigger a corresponding action.
For a Facebook fundraiser page post, the corresponding action is to create a stewardship task all of which you will see queued in your Inbox.
From here it's simply a couple of clicks to create a message, copy it and then paste it to the supporters Facebook fundraiser page.
HEADS UP: To remain compliant with Facebook policies the text will still need to be posted directly on to the supporters Facebook fundraising page however the rule builder takes most of the legwork out, copying the message to your clipboard and linking you directly to their page so you can post.
With a supporter selected in your queue you will see you message editor tool in the middle of your screen.
This one is using a template so has pre-populated most of the text:
π§ How to Compose a Message
Click on the red heart icon and you will get the option to use a pre-existing template or just open up a blank message by choosing +Create New Post
π΅ How to Post to Facebook
Once you have composed your message in the text editor hit the green 'Message' button
This does two things:
It copies the message to you clipboard.
It opens the supporters Facebook fundraiser page.
Once on the fundraiser page simply create a post and then copy your message using
COMMAND+V on a Mac or
CTRL+V on a PC
Hit post and youre all done!
