Setting Up Notifications For New Applications and Registrations

Keeping on top of new applications and registrations is key to ensuring a smooth supporter experience. Social Sync makes it easy to set up automated notifications so you and your team never miss an update.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log in to your Social Sync account

Begin by logging into your Social Sync account using your log in details.

2. Go to Account Settings

From the left-hand menu, select Account Settings. This is where you can manage your organisation-wide preferences and integrations.

3. Select Notifications

Within the Settings menu, click Notifications. This is where you’ll find options to receive alerts for different actions on your account.

4. Set up notifications for Applications

If you’re part of a wider programme (such as the Sydney, Paris, or Cape Town Marathon), or if you’re managing a third-party event using application forms, you can switch on Application Submitted Notifications.

Once toggled on, you’ll be prompted to enter one or more email addresses.

📧Application Submitted Notifications: Every time a new application is submitted, Social Sync will automatically send an email notification to the specified addresses.

This is a great way to make sure your team can review and respond to new applicants quickly.

5. Set up notifications for Campaign Registrations

If you’re running a campaign directly through Social Sync, you can toggle on Campaign Registration Created Notifications.

You’ll again be prompted to enter the email addresses you’d like to receive these alerts.

📧 Campaign Registration Created Notifications: Whenever a new campaign registration is created, Social Sync will send an email notification to those listed addresses.

Once you’ve set up your notifications, your team will stay informed and ready to engage supporters as soon as they join your campaign or submit an application.


Tips

  • You can add multiple team members to receive notifications. This is perfect for when different teams manage applications and registrations.

  • Notifications can be updated or switched off at any time from your Account Settings.

  • Make sure the listed email addresses are actively monitored to avoid missing new supporter activity.
