If a runner can no longer take part in the Paris Marathon, you can cancel their registration directly within Social Sync until February 5th 2026. This will remove them from your registrants list, and you can also release the charity place so it becomes available for someone else.
Step-by-step Cancel a registration
1) Open your Paris Marathon campaign
From the main menu, go to Campaigns
Click into your Paris Marathon campaign
2) Go to your registrants list
At the top of the campaign page, click Participants
Scroll down and click the Registrants tab
3) Open the registration you want to cancel
Find the runner you’d like to cancel
Click on their registration record to open it
4) Check the Njuko Account Status (important)
In the registration record, scroll to Place Management and check the Njuko Account Status.
If it says “Njuko – Account Created”
✅ Do not cancel yet.
You’ll need to contact Corentin first so he can delete the runner’s Njuko link.
Why this matters: If the Njuko link isn’t removed before cancellation, new runners you register may not receive a Njuko link correctly.
If it does not say “Njuko – Account Created”
✅ The runner hasn’t completed that step yet, and you can safely cancel them in Social Sync.
5) Cancel the registration in Social Sync
In the top-right corner of the registration record, click the three dots (⋯)
Select Cancel registration
IMPORTANT NOTE: You have until February 5th 2026 to cancel a registration and replace the cancelled runner with a new runner. After this date, you will not longer be able to replace cancelled runner, you will only be able to register new runners.
Releasing the charity place (so it can be reused)
After cancelling the registration, you’ll also want to release the place.
In the registration record, go to Place Management
Click Edit
Click Cancel to release the charity place
