👩💻 At a Glance
The Fundraising Analytics Overview is the first page you see when you log in to Social Sync.
It brings together fundraising performance across all Social Sync campaigns, helping you understand what is driving results across your organisation within any selected date range.
Four headline cards give you an immediate view of:
Donations – Total donated and number of donations
Fundraising Pages – Pages created and active fundraisers
Top Activity – Your highest-performing campaign activity
Supporters – New and repeat supporters
Change the date range in the top-right of the dashboard and all cards, charts and tables will update automatically.
Use the dashboard to compare platforms, understand fundraising behaviour and see which supporters, activities and channels are driving the most value.
Donations
The Donations card shows the total amount donated and total number of donations recorded in Social Sync during the selected date range.
Open the Donations tab for a deeper view of donation performance.
Donations Trend
The line graph shows how donations change over time.
Use the Platform filter to choose which fundraising platforms appear, and switch between:
Daily – See donation count, average donation and amount donated for each day, making it easier to spot peaks and dips.
Cumulative – See the running number and value of donations across the selected period, helping you visualise overall growth.
Donations by Platform
The table compares performance across supported fundraising platforms, including Social Sync, Facebook, Instagram, JustGiving, GoFundMe and Enthuse.
For each platform you can see:
Count – Number of donations
Average – Average donation value
Total – Total amount donated
The highest-performing value in each metric is highlighted, making it easy to see which platforms are driving the strongest results.
Fundraising Pages
The Fundraising Pages card shows how many fundraising pages were created and how many fundraisers became active during the selected period.
Open the Pages tab to explore fundraising page performance in more detail.
Page Creation Trend
The line graph shows how fundraising page creation changes over time.
Use the Platform filter to compare different fundraising platforms and switch between:
Daily – See the number of pages created each day.
Cumulative – See the running total of pages created across the selected period.
Fundraising Pages by Platform
The table compares fundraising performance across each supported platform.
You can see:
Pages – Number of fundraising pages created
Active – Percentage of fundraising pages with at least one donation
Average – Average amount raised per fundraiser
Total – Total amount raised
This makes it easy to compare not just how many fundraisers each platform creates, but how effectively those fundraisers activate and raise money.
Activity
Every Social Sync campaign has an Activity Type, such as Run, Walk or Cycle.
The Top Activity card shows the activity type that generated the highest combined fundraising total across all campaigns during the selected period.
For example, if one Walk campaign raises £150,000 but two Run campaigns together raise £211,500, Run will appear as the top activity.
Open the Activity tab to compare performance across your different campaign activities.
Activity Performance
The bar chart compares the total amount raised by activity type.
By default, Social Sync displays the eight highest-performing activities within the selected date range. Use the Activity filter to change which activities are shown.
Activity Comparison
The table provides a wider comparison of each activity type:
Activity – The activity selected in Campaign Settings
Active – Percentage of fundraising pages with at least one donation
Average – Average amount raised per fundraiser
Total – Combined amount raised across campaigns using that activity
Campaigns created before Activity Types were introduced are grouped under Other.
This helps you understand which activities attract the strongest fundraisers, generate the highest activation and ultimately raise the most.
Supporters
The Supporters card shows the number of new and repeat supporters who took part during the selected date range.
New supporters are people engaging with your organisation for the first time.
Repeat supporters are people returning to fundraise or donate again after previously supporting your organisation.
Open the Supporters tab to compare how new and repeat supporters contribute to fundraising performance.
Comparing New and Repeat Supporters
The clustered bar chart compares Fundraisers and Donors, split between new and repeat supporters.
Fundraisers
Fundraisers are supporters who have created at least one fundraising page.
Hover over the bars to see:
Number of fundraisers
Number of active fundraising pages
Activation rate
Average amount raised by active fundraisers
Donors
Donors are supporters who have made at least one donation.
Hover over the bars to see the number of donors and their average donation value.
This gives you a quick way to compare acquisition with retention and understand how returning supporters perform against people engaging for the first time.
New Supporters
The New Supporters card provides a deeper view of people supporting your organisation for the first time.
It includes:
Fundraisers (new) – Supporters who created their first-ever fundraising page during the selected period
Donors (new) – Supporters who made their first-ever donation during the selected period
Total Raised (new) – Money donated during the selected period to a supporter’s first fundraising page
This helps you understand the value being generated by newly acquired supporters.
Repeat Supporters
The Repeat Supporters card shows supporters returning to fundraise or donate again.
It includes:
Fundraisers (repeat) – Supporters who created another fundraising page during the selected period
Donors (repeat) – Supporters who made another donation during the selected period
Total Raised (repeat) – Money donated during the selected period excluding donations made to a supporter’s first fundraising page
This gives you a clearer view of supporter retention and the value being generated by people who continue their relationship with your organisation.
