Custom Campaign Folders

Group related campaigns into shared folders that match the way your team works

đŸ‘©â€đŸ’» At a Glance

Custom Folders let you organise campaigns in a way that works for your team, without changing whether they are classed as Fundraising, Third Party or Organic.

Use folders to group related campaigns, events or programmes together and make larger campaign portfolios easier to navigate.

You can:

  • Create shared folders for your organisation

  • Add the same campaign to more than one folder

  • Reorder folders using drag and drop

  • Edit folder names, descriptions and campaign selections at any time

Custom Folders are shared across your organisation, so all Social Sync users see the same folder structure.

Creating a Custom Folder

To create a folder:

  1. Select the + next to Folders.

  2. Give the folder a name.

  3. Add an optional description.

  4. Select the campaigns you want to include.

  5. Select Create.

The new folder will appear in the Folders section of the Campaigns navigation.

Adding Campaigns to a Folder

You can add Fundraising, Third Party and Organic campaigns to Custom Folders.

From the campaign table, open the menu next to a campaign, select Add to folder, choose one or more folders and confirm.

You can also open an existing folder, select Edit folder and add or remove campaigns from there.

A campaign can belong to multiple Custom Folders at the same time.

Editing a Folder

Open the folder you want to update and select Edit folder.

You can change the folder name or description and add or remove campaigns.

Select Save when you are finished.

Reordering Folders

Drag and drop folders within the Folders section to change the order they appear in the Campaigns navigation.

This makes it easy to keep your most important or frequently used campaign groups near the top.

Deleting a Folder

Open the folder, select Edit folder, then choose Delete and confirm the action.

Deleting a Custom Folder does not delete any of the campaigns inside it. The campaigns will remain available in their original Fundraising, Third Party or Organic area and in any other folders they belong to.

Keeping Your Campaign Portfolio Organised

Custom Folders give your team a flexible shared structure on top of Social Sync’s core campaign categories.

Use them to group campaigns by things such as event series, fundraising programme, team priority or reporting period, while keeping the underlying campaign data unchanged.

Organise campaigns around the way your team works and find the right activity faster.
