Social Sync media dimensions

When building your campaigns on Social Sync, great looking imagery plays a huge role in making your pages feel professional, trustworthy and engaging across every platform. Whether it’s your main campaign page, an email banner or a supporter’s digital wallet.

To help you or your designers create assets with confidence, this guide outlines all the recommended image dimensions and file requirements across Social Sync.


Account settings

When your account is first created in Social Sync, you'll be prompted to upload your charity's logo in various locations in the account settings. Uploading your charity's logo is essential for legitimising your Social Sync comms and resources.

Banner Image

The banner image in the account settings isn't currently being used, as such we recommend leaving it blank. An update will be shared when it's functional.

Logo
This logo will automatically display in the footer of your emails. You can update the logo in Account Settings > Branding > Branding Guide.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 44 pixels wide and 44 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 1000 pixels wide.

Favicon
This is the image that appears next to the site URL in a web browser. You can update the favicon in Account Settings > Branding > Branding Guide.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 512 pixels wide by 512 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to a ratio of 1:1

Header Logo
This is the logo of your organisation that will appear in the header at the top left of your site. You can update the logo in Account Settings > Branding > Header.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 44 pixels wide and 44 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 1000 pixels wide.

Footer Logo
This is the logo of your organisation that will appear in the footer at the bottom left of your site. You can update the logo in Account Settings > Branding > Footer.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 44 pixels wide and 44 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 1000 pixels wide.


Campaign and Fundraiser Media

When creating a new campaign in Social Sync via the Campaign Creation Wizard, you'll be prompted to upload images for your campaign microsite and fundraisers.


While a fundraising page will be created with the banner image selected in the campaign settings, a fundraiser can upload their own banner image to a Social Sync, Facebook, JustGiving or GoFundMe fundraising page.

Campaign Banner Image
This is the banner image you will be prompted to upload when creating a new campaign via the Campaign Creation Wizard. It will automatically display on the campaign's microsite and will be used for the fundraiser banner image if a banner image hasn't been selected.

You can update the Campaign Image in Campaign Settings or Event Settings for a multi-event > Settings > Campaign Image.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1080 pixels wide and 400 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 2.7:1

JustGiving Fundraiser Banner
This is the image that will appear at the top of a JustGiving fundraising page.

The JustGiving banner image will default to the Campaign Banner but you can update it in Campaign Settings or Event Settings for a multi-event > JustGiving (under Integrations) > Banner Image.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1200 pixels wide and 675 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 1.78:1

Facebook Fundraiser Banner
This is the image that will appear at the top of a Facebook fundraising page.

The Facebook banner image will default to the Fundraiser Banner Image selected during the campaign set up but you can update it in Campaign Settings or Event Settings for a multi-event > Facebook (under Integrations) > Banner Image.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1250 pixels wide and 462 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 2.7:1

GoFundMe Fundraiser Banner
This is the image that will appear at the top of a GoFundMe fundraising page.

The GoFundMe banner image will default to the Fundraiser Banner Image selected during the campaign set up but you can update it in Campaign Settings > GoFundMe (under Integrations) > Banner Image.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 720 pixels wide and 405 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 1.77:1

Social Sync Fundraiser Banner
This is the image that will appear at the top of a Social Sync fundraising page. There are two versions of Social Sync fundraisers and each version has different media dimensions.

You can update the Social Sync Fundraiser Banner image in Campaign Settings or Event Settings for a multi-event > Fundraisers > Banner Image.

New Social Sync fundraising pages (banner sits across two thirds of the fundraising page):

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1080 pixels wide and 607 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 1.78:1

  • Maximum size is 4MB.

Legacy Social Sync fundraising pages (banner sits across the entire fundraising page):

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1280 pixels wide and 500 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 2.56:1​

Social Sync Team Fundraiser Banner

This is the image that will appear at the top of a Social Sync Team fundraising page. The dimensions are the same as the fundraiser banner for new Social Sync fundraising pages.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1080 pixels wide and 607 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 1.78:1

  • Maximum size is 4MB.


Wallet Passes

Wallet Passes allow a fundraiser to save a QR code for their Social Sync fundraising page to their Apple or Google Wallet, making it easier to share a fundraising page link in person.

Wallet Passes can be accessed in Campaign Settings or Event Settings for a multi-event > Fundraisers > Wallet Passes.

Apple Wallet Header
The default header is the supporter's avatar but you can replace it with your own image via Wallet Passes in the Fundraisers settings.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 150 pixels wide and 50 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 3.2:1

  • Maximum size is 4MB.

Google Wallet Header
The default header is the supporter's avatar but you can replace it with your own image via Wallet Passes in the Fundraisers settings.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 150 pixels wide and 150 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to a ratio of 1:1

Apple Wallet Hero
The default is the fundraising page title but you can replace it with your own image via Wallet Passes in the Fundraisers settings.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1000 pixels wide and 300 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 3.3:1

  • Maximum size is 4MB.

Google Wallet Hero
The default is no image but you can add an image to the bottom of the pass via Wallet Passes in the Fundraisers settings.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1000 pixels wide and 300 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 3.3:1

  • Maximum size is 4MB.


Microsite Media

Microsite Logo
The microsite uses the logos uploaded in your account settings. The microsite Page Header and Page Footer logos are taken from the header and footer logos uploaded in Settings > Branding > Header/Footer.

Please note, Campaign Logo in the microsite Styling tab is due to be retired. The Campaign Logo image does not display on microsites. If you want to update the microsite logo, you will need to update the header and footer logos in your account settings or create a custom header and footer for a specific campaign.

To create a custom header and footer for a microsite at campaign level go to Campaign Settings > Branding > Create Custom Header/Create Custom Footer. The custom header and footer logo specifications are:

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 44 pixels wide and 44 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 1000 pixels wide.

Microsite Favicon
This is the image that appears next to the microsite URL in a web browser. You can edit it via the Styling tab in the microsite editor.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high.

  • Must not exceed 512 pixels wide by 512 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to a ratio of 1:1

Microsite Images
The Campaign Banner Image will be used for the default microsite banner image but you have the option to update it and add more images in the microsite editor.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 200 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.

  • Similar to the campaign banner, 1080 pixels wide and 400 pixels high works well on Social Sync microsites.

Leaderboard Header Icon
This is an optional icon that sits next to Top Fundraisers in the leaderboard on the campaign microsite. You can edit this icon in the Leaderboard block in the microsite editor.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 1:1


Email Media

Email Images
When building or an updating an email, you have the option to add an image block. The image block will automatically display the Campaign Banner Image but you have the option to update it.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 200 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.

  • It's recommended that email images are no more than 600px wide.

  • Must be below 4MB.


Tickets and transactions

Ticket Images
Including an image on a ticket is optional. To upload an image to a ticket go to the Tickets settings, find the ticket you would like to add an image to and click "edit".

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 1080 pixels wide and 400 pixels high.

  • Will be cropped to an aspect ratio of 2.7:1

Receipt Image
If you have donation receipts turned on in your account settings, you have the option to upload a footer image. To find donation receipts go to Account Settings > Organisation > Donation Receipts.

  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp.

  • Must have a minimum size of 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.

  • Must be below 5MB.
