Tickets are a great way to manage paid registrations for your campaigns, whether you’re running an event, hosting a challenge, or offering exclusive entry to a supporter experience. On SocialSync, the Ticket feature connects directly with your registration forms and payment processor (Stripe), making it easy to handle payments, track sales, and keep supporter data all in one place.
IMPORTANT: Before you get started, please ensure that your organisation’s Stripe integration is active in your account settings, this enables payments to be processed securely.
Creating a Ticket
You can create tickets either during your campaign setup or afterwards, so there’s no need to decide right away.
To create tickets post setup:
Go to your Campaign Dashboard.
Click ‘Edit’ in the top right-hand corner to head to your Campaign Settings.
Select the ‘Tickets’ page on the left hand side of your campaign menu.
To create a new ticket, click ‘New Ticket’.
If you already have a ticket, you can edit it by clicking on it directly.
Add your ticket details:
Ticket title
Price
Quantity available
Maximum tickets purchasable per supporter
Description (optional)
Image (optional)
Click Save.
Your ticket is now ready to link to a registration!
Linking Your Ticket to a Registration
Once your ticket is set up, you’ll need to connect it to a registration flow so that supporters can purchase it as part of their sign-up process.
In your campaign settings, click on the ‘Registration’ page.
You’ll see a default registration flow – click on it to edit.
Start by setting your objective. This determines which fundraiser is created when a supporter registers.
Choose between: SocialSync Fundraiser, Facebook Fundraiser, JustGiving, or GoFundMe.
You can also select multiple fundraiser creation to automatically create, for example, both a SocialSync and a Facebook fundraiser. Both can be managed within SocialSync for ease and simplicity.
Next, adjust your registration settings. This lets you customise how your registration link appears when shared on platforms.
You can edit the banner image, preview title, and description.
On the next stage, attach your ticket:
Click ‘Add Ticket’ and select one of the tickets you created earlier.
Your ticket will now be linked to your registration.
On the Details page, customise your registration form with the data fields you’d like to collect - for example:
Contact details
Merchandise preferences
Terms and conditions
Marketing consent
Review your Checkout and Confirmation pages to see how they’ll appear to registrants. (These pages are not editable.)
Click Save when finished.
Final Steps
Once your registration flow is complete:
Make sure your registration toggle is switched on to allow supporters to sign up.
You can switch this toggle off at any time to close registrations.
Analytics
Once your tickets and registration flows are live, Social Sync provides built-in analytics to help you monitor performance and understand supporter engagement.
Ticket Analytics
You can easily track how your tickets are performing:
Go to the ‘Tickets’ tab in the left-hand menu of your campaign dashboard.
Here, you’ll find an overview of:
Tickets sold – see how many tickets have been purchased.
Total revenue – view the total income generated through ticket sales.
Registration Analytics
For deeper insights, head to the ‘Registration’ tab in your campaign settings. This section provides detailed data on supporter activity and fundraising performance linked to your registration flow. You can view:
Opens – how many times your registration flow has been viewed.
Registrations – the total number of supporters who have registered.
Fundraisers created – how many fundraisers were set up through this registration.
Active fundraisers – how many of those fundraisers have started raising funds.
Average amount raised – the average fundraising total per registration flow.
Total revenue – the combined total raised across all fundraisers linked to this registration.
These insights give you a clear picture of how your campaign is performing, helping you identify what’s working well and where there may be opportunities to optimise your supporter journey.
And that’s it! your ticketing is ready to go! With your tickets linked to a registration flow, you can easily manage payments, participant details, and fundraiser setup, all within one streamlined process. It’s a simple yet powerful way to enhance supporter experiences while keeping your data organised and actionable.
