This changelog details all changes between the Campaign Registrations Export v2.0 and the Registrations Export v3.0 specifications. It is intended to help customers update downstream data processes such as CRM upload mappings, data warehouse ETL jobs, and reporting integrations.
Transition period: v2.0 exports will remain available alongside v3.0 after the 7 April go-live date. You do not need to update your downstream processes immediately. We will provide advance notice before v2.0 exports are retired.
Note: Column positions have changed significantly in v3.0. Do not rely on column letter/index - use column headers for mapping.
Summary of changes

Key concept: consolidated fundraiser totals
v2.0 included a per-platform breakdown of fundraiser activity - separate blocks of columns for Social Sync, Facebook, Instagram, and JustGiving, each with their own Donations count, Amount Raised, Gift Aid, Fundraiser Link, and Fundraiser IDs. That was 24 columns across four platforms.
v3.0 replaces all of this with a single set of consolidated totals: Donations (G), Raised (H), Gift Aid Raised (K), and Grand Total (L), plus a single Primary Fundraiser URL (E). This simplifies the export significantly and means new platforms (e.g. GoFundMe) don't require additional columns.
Customers with downstream processes that depend on per-platform fundraiser breakdowns will need to adjust. The Transactions export v3.0 retains a Platform column if per-platform analysis is needed at the transaction level. The Fundraisers Export also gives full platform based breakdowns and Fundraiser records can be sorted by Registration ID.
Key concept: registration types (Adult / Child)
v3.0 introduces a Type column (C) with values Adult and Child. Child registrations are always linked to an Adult registration and will not receive any communications. This supports events with dependent registrations, such as family entries or events requiring guardian-linked child registrants (e.g. Paris Marathon 2027 charity place requirements).

Other structural changes
Fundraiser summary replaces per-platform totals
As described above, 24 per-platform columns are replaced by 5 consolidated columns. The v2.0 "Total Donations" (BV), "Total Amount Raised" (BW), "Total Gift Aid Raised" (BX), and "Grand Total" (BY) columns map most closely to the v3.0 equivalents, though v3.0 also introduces "Amount Pledged" (I) and "Total Raised" (J) to handle offline/matched pledge tracking.
Ticket and team fields
New columns for Ticket ID (M), Ticket Title (N), Discount Code (O), Ticket Cost (P), Team ID (Q), Team Role (R), and Team URL (S) support the expanded registration model that now includes ticket purchases and team membership.
Activity fields repositioned
Activity Target (T), Activity Units (U), Activity Count (V), and Activity Sum (W) remain functionally the same but have moved position. Activity Type is renamed to Event Activity (BG) and repositioned alongside other event fields.
Event fields expanded
New fields for Event Activity (BG), Event Details (BJ), Event Start Date (BK), and Event End Date (BL) provide richer event context within the registration export.
